Tools to Contact and Present Your Products

In “LOVE IS IN THE AIR,” the retail service proprietor is your primary customer. Step 4 of the sales campaign provides you with the tools to contact and present your products and include:

Sales Presentation

There is no substitute for face to face contact. Your greatest chance of closing the sale happens in a personal conversation, particularly when you are presenting the prospect with a free gift. The retail service proprietor your approach in person will be able to see you, your product, and will appreciate the time you took to create a sample product with their business name on it. Below is a sample script for a face to face sales presentation.

The sales presentation:
(Bring product brochures, free dry erase board, and other product samples to show).

Hi my name is Susie Cue. I own ABC Engraving on Main Street. We are introducing a new line of holiday home décor products and would like to place some brochures in your salon. The brochures will give your customers some fun things to look at while they are waiting for their appointment.

I brought you a free dry erase board with your salon name and number on it that you could use to show specials, announce upcoming events, or new services you offer. The dry erase board is an example of the types of products we can create. We can add full color photos, graphics and custom messages to all of our products. In addition, I would like to create a custom set of coasters with your name on them that you could keep in the salon during the holiday season so customers could see a sample of the product, and then they are yours to take home.
